Sheer Glow, baby

For some odd reason 

Winter weather has been bipolar

it was 60 degrees yesterday

and today it's 35 degree

o.O

Anywho because of the weather

my skin has been acting horribly

with breakouts & dryness & bleurghness

So few weeks ago

Whilst walking through Sephora

I stumbled onto the Nars section

& found my beloved

Nars Sheer Glow Foundation!

I've heard rave reviews of this but never considered buying because BB cream was working for me

But I thought a change was needed:)

The finish is absolutely lovely

It has a nice sheen

and the coverage is buildable 

It has amazing coverage!

so for the days when your face decides to be all red & bleurgh

this really does the trick!

hehe

[I'm ghastly pale so I got the color Deauville. It's a bit pale but with bronzer, it's perfect! Anywho I prefer pale over tan hehe]

Life has been rather boring for me

Went to a lovely lunch with my friend today

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

So I'm home for the holidays

& my mother wanted to take me to a new park that opened up in my area.

It's called Rosetree park and it is literally amazing!

they decorate the park with lights & figures for Christmas

it's absolutely beautiful!

It was dark and my camera is utter shit in the dark

I tried to edit but to no avail 

:( 

but I really wanted to post them, so please enjoy:)

On another note

We got my doggie a girlfriend!

Her name is Lollipop

So this may be a bit depressing 

but the reason she looks a bit frazzled and dirty is because

 I took this picture right after she got attacked by a huge German Shepard while I was taking her for a walk

 He literally came out of no where and tried to mate with her!

she was so scared :S

And his owner was so rude and refused to grab him 

then she started cursing at me! :O

and 

lollipop was screaming and barking

it was just horrifying:(

She was terrified and wouldn't stop shaking

I had to hold her for a few hours 

She's sleeping now finally

But I am so mad

Not so much at the dog because it's his nature to mate

but at the owner because she refused to hold him back

and her disgusting attitude!

if I tell her that I don't want her dog near mine

then she should listen and grab her dog! 

the nerve!

So I am very happy to say

Finals are done!

No more staying up all night

and cramming in crap I won't remember next week

I was rummaging through my jewelry box last night

while taking a break from studying

and I found this ring that I don't recall getting

I really liked it though

It's a big flower ring

More of a costume jewelry sort of thing

Kind of feels like I just got a new present

but not really

but sort of!

hehe

[I can't wait to start wearing this ring out hehe]

Oh another thing..

[My doggy Toby told me he was jealous that I posted a picture of the kitty and not him hehe! He's my little baby, I've had him since I was in third grade!]

Giggles & Bows

Another day, Another stop to Forever 21!

So today, still reeling in from the excitement of my cheapie flower earring find

I decided to have another look at Forever 21.

Whilst looking aimlessly through the earring rack,

my eyes fell upon these cute diamond (fake of course) bow earrings.

Dainty, light, chic

It immediately caught my eyes

what also caught my eyes was the price tag

a mere $2.80

:O

cheaper than the flower earrings!

BARGAIN

I am in love:)

And this may seem weird

but I couldn't help but show off what a bargain it was

so I took a picture of the back to show the price

Peachstock, honey

I usually have this tendency to overlove certain items.

One item that I use religiously is

Peachstock lipstick by MAC

I first discovered this lipstick when it came out with 

the Liberty of London collection from MAC.

It's a bit old but that hasn't fade my love away.

It's a gorgeous, creamy, smooth satin peach.

I am literally obsessed with it!

It can be a bit drying but with a little bit of lipgloss, 

it's PERFECTO

And I love the design on the lipstick tube

As you can see I've used most of it up

But fear not, I bought three!

hehe

I was going to do a swatch but it turned out absolutely horrible

and the color wouldn't show

So I hope a lip view will make up for it!

I was going to do a whole face view

but it's finals week right now

and my face looks like death

SUSHI CAT

Today, I ate some of the best sushi ever!

The place is called "Fat Salmon"

The place is absolutely amazing and the waiter was absolutely

ADORABLE!

Oh keep in mind, I didn't intend to blog this meal.

So the pictures are crap.

But it was so good, I had to share the poorly taken pictures I took

enjoy & salivate

[Main dish: I honestly don't remember! we ordered a bunch of different kinds of rolls and stuck it all on one plate]

The perfect man is the perfect man for a man

A bit of a tongue twister there, eh?

Anyways, onto the explanation.

So today I was walking around my campus.

It's the weekend and no one is usually around so I decided to enjoy the empty campus all by myself.

While exploring, I saw this beautiful guy walking past my way..

his hair was in perfect condition, swaying around as the breeze flows through it..

he had piercing blue eyes that captivated me and left me breathless..

he had plump soft lips that would make any girl swoon..

His jaw line has been chiseled to perfect..

beautiful honey like skin..

I wanted to marry this guy.

I already made up our children's name at this point.

whatever.

DON'T JUDGE! 

you all have done this at one point! 

I saw that he was making his way towards me 

and I started to tense up

He finally approached me 

and I looked up at him like

"Hi.." I said feebly

He smiled a gorgeous smile. 

Then he began to speak ..

"Hi, do you support gay rights? I would really appreciate it if you would sign this petition to have chick-fil-a removed from campus because they support anti-gay groups which means they're supporting the prevention of my boyfriend and I possibly getting married and having a family one day.." 

And then I was like..

then I went back to my room and was like

" WHYYYYYY?"

Ah, the life of a single college student. 

bleurgh. 

At least I got love from ben & jerry

The earth laughs in flowers

So today I walked into Forever21 with the intention of not buying anything. 

Mainly because I had only 5 bucks in my pocket 

and really what could you possibly get with 5 bucks?

So as I was snooping around the racks, 

my eyes fell upon the earring section.

And I found the most beautiful gold flower earring

and it was only $3.50

BARGAIN

*Cue celebration dance*

Onto the pretty little gems I picked up

Small little gold flowers with a little diamond in the middle.

It's not too big but it does make a beautiful bold statement

Aren't they gorgeous?

Awkward Elevator moment

So today I walked into the elevator 

Right before the door was about to close, a boy walked in.

We were both going to the top floor.

In the elevator, there was no music.

It was silence. 

Then I got a really funny text and a big smile appeared on my face and I couldn't seem to get that grin off my face.
After a few seconds, I glanced over at guy.
I was just curious to what he looked like.

And at the same time I glanced over, he glanced over at me.

So it looked like I have been staring at him and smiling at him the entire time we were going up the elevator.

Is $1.50 really worth it?

I buy milk at my campus's store for 2.49 every single week.

Been a steady customer since freshman year.

So today, I went there and bought my milk.

Paid with flex and went on with my day.

That was until I noticed that the lady took 3.99 off instead of the usual 2.49.

I mean, I don't really want to go and make a scene because it's usually crowded as heck in there

The line is always long and they're so impatient.

So I got the milk

but I got jipped.
Is $1.50 really worth going back for?

I hate hate hate hate hate hate hate my professor.

[CUE ANGRY FACE!!]

What I learned throughout the course of PLSC 111:

• Dr. Chambers grew up in Iowa.
• Dr. Chambers loves the Pittsburgh Pens and hates all things Philadelphia.
• I learned how to play ice hockey and now LOVE THE FLYERS.
• Dr. Chambers has a son who goes to VTech and was there at the time of the shooting.
• Dr. Chambers eats a special K bar, a diet coke, and a banana every single day for breakfast.
• Dr. Chambers loves the cold.
• Dr. Chambers loves current events and Steve Jobs.
• Dr. Chambers hates the campus food
• Dr. Chambers has been teaching for 20 years and thinks that the school changed too much.
• Dr. Chambers does not like to talk of anything politics except his narrow views on it.
• Dr. Chambers likes to make tests with subjective questions where basically if you don't agree with him, you fail.
• If you disagree with Dr. Chambers, you fail the class.

I failed the class.

Am I bitter? 

HELL YES. 

I studied my ass off this semester.

Deleted my Facebook so I wouldn't be distracted.

Reread the book.

Researched online.

Moved into the library.

And then I got tested on why the Penn state coach got fired

So today I was on the bus

and a person who I haven't seen in a long time gets on the bus.

He waves hi 

I wave hi back

He gives me a weird look and starts laughing

I turn around

The HI wasn't for me

it was for the person few seats behind me.

awkward.

And rude.

Did he really have to start laughing and not say hi to me at all?
